I wanted to combine two extremely chirpy stores in one post. Also a little more nostalgia, this time one of my pining for something as a kid I never got. Two things I always wanted as a kid and never got, where the Simon game , and crayola caddy. Seriously do you remember that thing, it was huge, there was probably a bazillion colours in it, and it had so many other amazing things.

When it came out though, I was possibly too old for crayons, but I was such a stationary nut. So when I logged in tonight/day/afternoon I grinned with glee, and thought “I HAZ CRAYONSSSSSS ” mwahahahaha. Colour me Dorky is by aDORKable poses and has 8 poses in one nifty crayon display. I am only showing four – obviously – but it is loads of fun, especially for just hanging out with friends and wanting to all sit around eachother. The standing poses are also from their store, as they recently started doing poses packs as well, male and female ones.

aDORKable poses has lots of nifty items like that, and it is not surprising as the whole store is a team effort, and truly they are as aDORKable as the name suggests. The whole group love having fun together, and it really makes me smile seeing any or all of them at The Deck.

Now the other Dork I know, and one of the biggest is Kit Maitland, she is an utter nutter. She makes me crazy though, that girl can sit on a demo for months before going out to get the hair, I so obviously cannot do that, it’s in, try , buy for me. But it does make for interesting style notes, you see Kit Maitland of CKS Designs, was one of the first stores I have ever seen that includes a styling card in her clothing items, to let you know what skin, hair and shoes she is wearing in her ads.

She has been doing it for years, and it shows how organised that woman is for sure. Besides fashion, her other big obsession is football, but I am rambling. Recently she did something so sweet, she created a new swimsuit line and has it available only at The Deck. I am so honoured that she did this for us here, and wanted to share them with you today.

Four different styles, in beautiful colours and prints, first mate having less colours but a definite nautical theme with such a cute flouncy skirt. Going Commando is a fib :P and Dotty is as adorable as Dot the person, also a great friend of Kits, and who I have decided whether true or not that swimsuit is named after. My favourite is the SparkleBum, very sexy and a killer sunbathing kini , they are all just YUM.

The beautiful and definitely dried from the sun look hairstyles are all from TRUTH , ok maybe the Farrah isn’t dried from the sun exactly, but the rest definitely have that sun, salt and sea air look about them.

The skins are all Cleo by Dutch Touch , and yes using my VR Professional HUD I was able to do this combined me pic in minutes, it took longer to rez the change of swimsuits than to take the pics :). I lock camera with the VR Hud, then take pic, next , next , then shift drag them over eachother in PS and erase the parts i dont way, by changing the opacity to see through to each other layer.
