At a few minutes before the hour of midnight last night, Arabella, Ashia and I tpd around like crazy women, to try and get to all the 50L friday items. We managed I think to get most of them before Ashia had to leave…it is always so hard to spend the right hours together with everyone living all over the world.

The last few days I have been sleeping almost like an aussie, it’s been shocking to the system. Mel doesn’t sleep like an american, Whimsy doesn’t sleep much at all, Ashia is always up extra late for a pom, and Arabella burns the candle at both ends in NZ.

It is now 8am and I still haven’t slept, but I had a great time nattering with the masses in FE today, and having Whimsy be mean to me, yes yes she was a meany bum. Yesterday much earlier in the day I was sooooooooo cranky, that the girls had to deal with me grumbling as we shopped, and then I got to BP* and I was in a glorious mood, because I found the ultimate in vintage jeans love….actually it was a denimpaloooza, not only did I find the jeans of Yum, but also the Gaucho denim pants of Yummyness too.

The flared back of the jeans is just wonderful with inbuilt ruffles in gingham they made me squeel with delight. You get three options of colour in the pack, but really can you go past red for your gingham. I was also overjoyed that it went perfectly with the Summer Breeze dress top portion that I was wearing yesterday in yellow, in the red which I had also bought…I was a happy bumblebee, the fact that Anya has used the system skirt for the bottom of this is awesome.

The top half of me was taken care of in full by OhMai today, not just the top of the dress for with the jeans, but also the lovely cami and vest..the vest is the type of open look that goes with just about everything, dressier pants or a slimline skirt, it will all work really well.  Sometimes you just have to get your denim groove on, and today was my day to do so.
